How to Connect Amazon Business to QuickBooks Online
When your bookkeeping clients buy business tools and resources on Amazon, sometimes it’s hard to know where to categorize these items. There is a specific tutorial in QuickBooks Online about how to connect your Amazon Business account.
This is so helpful because before I had these connected, it would be hard to figure out what my bookkeeping client bought on Amazon. I would have to go in to their account or wait for them to classify the expenses. Now, all of the info feeds in with great detail automatically. This is key for when I'm coding transactions to have accurate records for tax time.
Step 1: Set it up (your client needs an Amazon Business account to do this)
Step 2: Find the app transactions tab
Step 3: Match transactions in bank feeds
This a great hack for any bookkeeper!
