Step-by-Step: Creating Invoices and Receiving Payments in QuickBooks Online
In this QBO tutorial, I teach you how to set up a customer in QuickBooks, and then how to create a new invoice. You need to be sure to set up an item (product/service) so QB knows how to categorize the income. You can customize the invoice with your logo/branding, and then email it to your customer. Then, once the customer pays, you need to go back into QuickBooks Online to receive and record the payment.
